Architectural acoustics

Laying guidelines for the auditorium as per acoustical and theatre parameters, vis-à-vis geometry of the structure and architectural features.

Working out the lines of sight, angles of viewing and maximum screen size for cinematic projection as per international norms and standards.

Establishing the technical parameters of design through acoustical calculations, in order to determine the qualitative and quantitative requirement for sound proofing treatment. 

Designing of the various acoustical treatments for sound absorption as per prescribed norms, to satisfy the parameters set, as stated above.

Designing of the various acoustical treatments for airborne and structure borne sound isolation as per prescribed norms, to contain the sound produced, within the venue.

Providing recommendations to the HVAC agencies vis-à-vis achieving NC30 or better (Noise criteria), for extremely low background noise level.

 

Interior design

Offering the Clients various options of interior design options with innovative acoustical palettes for the theatres, and cutting edge theme based interiors for the concessions lobby and box office, through interpreting the corporate profile and brand positioning of the final product, as demanded by the projects.  

 

Preparation of detailed 3D photo-real simulations, working drawings, technical specifications, Bills of Quantities and documents to leverage calling of tender by Clients.

 

 

Electro acoustics

SOUND REINFORCEMENT SYSTEM DESIGN

Setting the parameters for the qualitative and quantitative nature of sound reinforcement system to be provided to cater to international norms and standards of cinematic projection, using real-time sound mapping software to fine tune the design.

Designing the system to ensure proper even distribution of the high quality sound to every part of the venue.

 

VIDEO PROJECTION SYSTEM DESIGN

Choosing the optimum video projection system of requisite power and luminosity to cater to Digital D&E Type Cinema.

Preparing of detailed Single Line Diagrams for the above.

Preparation of technical specifications,  Bills of quantities and documents to leverage calling of tender for the works.

 

All our designs are done using customised software for calculation of reverberation time and sound isolation, and for design of the sound reinforcement system through sophisticated sound simulation software.
