A brief introduction

I introduce my firm as a Multi-Discipline Consultancy Provider specialising in the Architecture, Interior Design and Acoustics design for the Entertainment, Hospitality, Institutional, Retail and Housing Industries.

 

We possess an in-house architecture and interior design team and are supported by a senior structural and MEP services team.

 

Additionally, we are experts in the creation of acoustically controlled environment, which makes us unique service providers in the niche segment of cinema, auditoria, airports and similar public spaces, and hotels and F&B outlets, and all kinds of institutional projects.

 

Our command over Acoustics

Graduating from IIT Kharagpur in 1988 as an Architect, with Acoustics as a special discipline, I have been involved, as a specialist, in all kinds of Acoustical projects like auditoriums, cinema halls and multiplexes, seminar halls, recording studios, discotheques and other similar spaces, for well over a decade.

 

In 2002, I was nominated by the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) to represent the Institute in the core Acoustics Panel in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), for the new National Building Code of India 2005, which is subsequently getting revised this year. I was subsequently a part of the same panel, for NBC 2016.

 

As a member of the core panel and as a Life Member of the Acoustical Society of India, I am in constant touch with the latest developments in the field of Architectural Acoustics in the country.

In addition, I have a background in music and theatre, both as a performer and producer, which adds value to my academic background. I have been a part of several experts committee for theatre design, with the Ministry of Culture.

Our authority in acoustics and electro-acoustics, with a wide array of experience in AV system design and integration into mega projects, in conjunction with our strong base in architecture,  interior design and Core Engineering, enables us to provide a holistic, multi-dimensional approach to our designs. We are equipped to handle all aspects of design, from architecture and interiors, seamlessly merging acoustics and MEP services.
