Understanding retail models
A Mall is essentially a retail, entertainment and hospitality hub, created to cater to the requirements of the maximum cross-section of the paying population around.
The main aspect of the design of shopping malls is to identify the user profile for each project separately, and to create an environment, unique to the place, attracting the widest target customers.
Identifying the target customer type is essential for positioning of the final project, to encourage maximum footfall and returns. Therefore, the USP of each Mall is different, in context with the local population, their customs and ways, specific likings and behaviour of spendings on shopping and entertainment.
Determining unique positioning of the each retail and entertainment hub is the specialization of INBA. With over two decades of working on all kinds of terrain, we possess an inherent understanding of the comfort environment of the customers in different city and town types. Backed with an exhaustive database, we apply context to theme, creating an unique environment, that necessarily changes from city to city. For example, in a project in a small town, if we were to add the affluent glamour of a South Delhi or South Mumbai kind, then in all probability, the lower-spending local population would be over-awed, and therefore not identify with the Mall as an extension of their lifestyle.
We create for the people. We create because we understand that the maximum number of users need to be comfortable coming and spending in our retail and entertainment facility, thereby creating maximum return-on-investment for our Clients. Therefore, our designs are research driven, and not cut-paste of other projects.

Designing for business
We are specialists in interpreting B2B and B2C models of business. Among our illustrious clients, over and above Mall owners and developers, are mega organizations like India Exposition Mart in Greater Noida, who arguably have the largest carpet area of space for exhibition, B2B business and retail options. We are also concept designers for ITPO for the Pragati Maidan Delhi redevelopment, focusing on strategizing concepts of business promotion through context-based design for retail and B2B models.
